Superbowl ratings

I'm curious as to what the ratings will look like this year compared to the last few years.

Wonder when / if they will come out?

I did watch part of enough games in the last part of the season and the superbowl that I have formed an opinion on something.
I think someone very high up in the nfl made a call to the networks and told them not to show anyone not standing for the National Anthem.
I could be wrong but I think the nfl knows it screwed the pooch and in full blown "fix it" mode.

Preliminary ratings show about a 3% decline from last year, but would be the lowest in 8 years.

Haha. I thought about tuning in to the halftime show to see if I could catch another 2 second shot....but decided against it.

That is true, but it still does not contradict the fact that ratings are down substantially.

Make no mistake, the NFL is not in a good situation right now for various reasons.

Oh I agree. I guarantee their regular season games took a nosedive, and will continue to do so.
