Unfortunately this was the only pic that I got with this particular one in the frame...but given the context of the picture before and after this one I can only assume it is a turkey. Now they weren't close enough to see if it was a male or female but it's the first time I've gotten one on film so I thought it was really cool. Hopefully it sticks around until season opens if nothing more than to get some good video footage of it! It's making the time till opening day CRAWL now!!!

I thoughts so as well. I'm assuming that it is some form of domesticated turkey interbreeding with wild ones. Is this how they get that coloration?

I had several sightings back during deer season of a young one on my ground, hope it is still around as well! It was more of a smoke color instead of white but I assumed it was because of it being young.

Was actually at an auction Saturday (72 acre farm plus equipment) , it joined a creek bottom and I could see 2 white turkeys along with 8-10 others down in the bottom!!
I so wish I could have raised my hand once they tied the tracts back together but it was a tad out of my price range!! Beautiful place

I thought about hitting the new owner up for permission to turkey hunt but know him and doubt he would have given it. I may call him and see anyhow, all he can say is no!! lol

2 ghosts hens, hopefully you can get one this fall

I hadn't thought about taking one in fall season! I'll have to file that away in my memory bank until then.
