Anyone know of a source of Beauregard sweet potato plants near Knoxville? I don't want the potted ones from Knox Seed, they're too high!!!! Thanks
 
I mail ordered about a 100 of them a few years ago from a place in georgia.. hard to find locally..
 
Thanks for the link, gil1. We got several sweet potato slips last year from some guy and I don't know what he sold us.

What types of Sweet Potatoes do you all like to grow? I seem to mostly enjoy the brighter orange fleshed ones - but I actually don't know what types of sweet potatoes those are. Any idea?

My apologies, Big Pop. I didn't mean to hi-jack your thread. I don't know of any areas in Knoxville. My aunt got us a 100 slips from some guy in Maryville and they were crap - didn't do well at all for either of us.
 
Lowe's always has them. Don't know where you are located but Newport Hardware usually has them. Pretty much anyone who carries "Bonnie" plants should have them.
 
if you like the Beauregard then you will love a Nancy Hall and if love the Nancy Hall then you will die for a Gold Nugget. A guy not to far above the Airport sell slips every year, usually posts on craigslist knoxville farm and garden.
