Grilled a couple ribeyes last night.
They looked pretty good but didn't have quite as much marbling as I like but I went for it.

Tasted great but other than the "tail" the rest of it was pretty tough.
Dunno if we didn't let them rest long enough or what I could have done to help.

Oh well, win some lose some when you deal with marginal beef.
 
As much as you enjoy fine cuts of red meat and good company, you owe it to yourself to get a sous vide cooler. I know several have posted about it in the cooking section. My wife and I won't even bother ordering a steak at a restaurant anymore. My $0.02

I actually have one and you are right, it is the bomb!
Honestly I forgot about it or I would have stuck these in it.

He's got one, he just doesn't use it. Or he doesn't know how to use it, one or the other.
 
I made rice again the other day and my son spit it out got up and emptied his plate into garbage can.

Told me i should forget the rice thing, it wasn't working out.

I guess that is a miss.
