I am leaning towards one or the other, instead of a string loop for my bow. Anyone have experience with either one? Anyone heard anything good/bad about either one? Should I avoid these and stick with a string loop?

I bought one 2 years ago. Shot it 3 times and tied my string loop back on.

I would stay with a loop.

If you by chance use a Scott release, neither will work properly. I shoot the mongoose release, and it will not release correct. I think the back of the package even says that...but naturally I didnt read "all that mess" until I shot a few arrows through the woods instead of the target.


I suggest a "regular" string loop

Loop, the others suck to much speed out of a bow

anthoer vote for regular loop...they dont wear on your serving, and they dont take away as much speed. Plush you arent holding your bow on two tiny screws.

Well, I guess I'll just go get get some loop string and tie one on. Now I have to decide which release to get as I have been shooting off the string.
