I've been so blessed this year with such good luck and opportunity and today I took a tom I've been after for a couple of seasons. I stopped by the farm he frequented on my way home for lunch and he was gobbling at 11:30. I eased into the saddle of woods he liked to travel and 3 clucks and a purr he came in on a string. I missed lunch but well what the heck! This was my 5th tom this season as I took one on the first quota hunt at LBL. I've hunted 3 counties some each week and heard birds every trip. It aint over till the fat lady sings sunday night still plenty of gobblin birds although it seems 10 till 2 is prime time lately. I'll spend my last week-end with my grandson I go with him everytime we can just not enough! God bless and good luck!
