TWRA was taking tissue and blood samples at the deer processor when I dropped him off. They also estimated the age of the deer based on tooth wear.

No way that deer is 3.5 years old he's 5.5+ based off trail cam picture, tooth wear isn't the most accurate way to determine age, as stated deer are pretty consistently under aged based on tooth wear.

Twra sux as bad at aging deer as they do managing for them! Ive got a 132 in 8 that dressed 168 and they aged it at 2.5
