Tank gets a ride in the truck!! Update: TWRA aged at 3.5

View attachment 254181View attachment 254182View attachment 254183View attachment 254185Was fortunate enough to harvest one our target bucks on the opening day of rifle season. He has 26" and 24" main beams, 19" inside spread, and 5" bases and weighed 169lbs with his head removed.

TWRA was taking tissue and blood samples at the deer processor when I dropped him off. They also estimated the age of the deer based on tooth wear.

Anyone care to guess the age?? I was

No way that deer is 3.5 years old he's 5.5+ based off trail cam picture, tooth wear isn't the most accurate way to determine age, as stated deer are pretty consistently under aged based on tooth wear.
I totally agree. We didn't give him the name Tank because he was 3.5. 💪🏾
