The Nikon scope says to use 250 grain bullet and 150 powder.

What would the powder equate to if you are using Triple 7.

I think you'd be better off shooting the gun and determining what works best. Any kind of guess or conversion is dicey. Makes me wonder if people make a mistake getting this scope not planning on using the set up it is designed for. Seems like the nice circles are useless if you are off by much.

IMO if you load every style of ML with 150 gr of powder and used the same weight bullet, none would shoot the same or have same POI. Like my barrel is 26" long, some are 20" and some at 28"
Also, IMO 150 grs of powder is a waste.

The circle are to be used as a gauge for any setup and it is up to the shooter to figure a setup that is best for them.

I asked the question of Hodgdon one although not for the same reason - they said load 777 %90 of Pyrodex. [FWIW]
