I'm gonna shoot after work, but I was running late and forgot to grab my bow. The wife leaves after me so I told her to grab it an put it in the back of her truck and I would drive over and get it at lunch time. (we work close to each other)

Now that i have explained how retarded I can be, on to the question. I know that extreme heat is bad for limbs, and I know cold temp won't hurt because we all hunt in freezing temps. What about taking a cold bow inside and shooting in a warm indoor range. Does the drastic change in temp have effects on the bow. Should I let the bow "warm up" before I shoot.

My guitars all have drastic tuning issues going from cold to hot or vice versa, but I didn't know it the same would be the same for archery equipment.

This could be an interesting research topic
All in all objects need to reach an equalibrium for maxium performance
I will do some research on the safty aspect
For now I would error on the side of caution just for safty sake
I am sure that limbs , cables and strings have different rates to equalize

I wouldnt shoot a bow that was hot to the touch but as far as shooting a cold bow in a warm area, I wouldnt bother me to go ahead and shoot it.
now if I was target shooting in a contest i would want it to be at room temp before I started any serious shooting.

Good question. I took my bow out for a spin when it was about 25 degrees then immediately brought it inside to my heated house. I wondered the same thing but haven't given it much thought since.

Actually, I think you are worrying about it too much. dont shoot it when the bow is too hot to touch and take precautions to prevent it from getting that hot. rest of the time, shoot it. you will cause long term damage and blow ups by letting it get too hot.
