My wife told me where it was going, and I thought it was a coincidence. Then I saw the account name, and thought "no way!" !

I bought my first trumpet during the offseason and have been working with it. I'm pretty comfortable with it, but still working on consistency.

What kind of trumpet are you going to get

Probably a McClain for starters I've talked with Matt about one just haven't pulled the trigger.
If I can get it down I'll add a Turpin later on.

Pappy makes a good trumpet as well. I picked one up this year and I really like it. I called in a turkey with it for a kid this past weekend and he missed lol.

One of Steve's is what I went with.

When it's good, it's VERY good. I just never know when I can make it be "good", and don't trust myself with it enough just yet !

Pappy does make some nice looking calls and priced right. I've talked with him about one.
I just can't make myself buy from a maker who doesn't hunt with them. I'm a little weird I guess.
