Here is what Chris Smith, sportswriter for Saturday Down South says about the onside kick.I'm not complaining about the call because Tennessee might have lost anyway but they might not have either. Here is what the sportswriter said and there are alot more than him agree with this assessment.

Here are screenshots taken at the moment of impact on the first onside kick taken from three different camera angles. Keep in mind the kicker is allowed to place his plant foot beyond the line of scrimmage. Clearly Tennessee wasnt offsides.

actually we should have been penalized for blocking before the ball traveled 10 yards. Either way it don't matter

Incorrect. The ball just has to bounce twice, which it did!

We will never know if Tennessee would have tied the game up or lost but Dobbs sure moved the team quickly down the fieid to get within 8 pts!!

Did the refs cost UT another game.... :D

Probably not but Ref crews around the Nation, especially the SEC has been suspect all year.

The initial call was illegal touch by TN because the ball hadn't went 10 yds. Replay showed that Missouri touch the ball before it went 10 yds and TN recovered. According to that it should have been TN ball but they then said TN was offsides on the kick. TN was not offsides.

The call has been made and it's in the books. Can't do anything about it today.

Dobbs looked terrible, should have dressed Tebow out and put him in! Right G-n-B?
I just want to stir the pot lickers.

Dobbs was wondering where SC and KYs defense were this past weekend.. :D

Poor ole Gators, had to have refs help in beating Kentucky,a team that Tennessee demolished.Gator, with the poor recruiting your Gators are having,it appears to the entire country that no one wants to go to the trainwreck at Florida!! :)

If your team is in a position where you don't have to try desperation plays to tie a ball game and questionable/suspect/wrong calls aren't that big of a deal.

When your down by a score and need a score to win or to tie and got to overtime, you do whatever it might take to get it done. Of course I wouldnt expect you to understand.

Thats a mighty tall horse your riding.

It would be a big deal to you if Alabama was about to lose a game because of a bad call.

Not really. It doesn't bother me a bit when Alabama loses. And I dang sure wouldn't blame it on the refs. I have always said a team should take the ref out of the game. If you are up by 50 a bad call is insignificant.

As a side note, I have also always been against replay/reviews. I say let the refs do their jobs, questionable calls are part of the game.

So your saying that if Alabama loses the National Championship to Jameis Winston and FSU on a bad call thats not gonna bother you any. Ill even say in that scenario your going to be begging for instant replay.

Bama hasnt won every game by 50 this year either.
