This is gonna be a fun game to watch
A game that could feature the largest crowd in college football history is reportedly a sellout.
According to the Knoxville News-Sentinel, all 150,000+ tickets for Tennessee's Sept. 10 game against Virginia Tech at Bristol Motor Speedway have been sold. The ticket breakdown was 40,000 for each school, and an additional 70,000 for the general public.
"I don't think any reasonable person could anticipate that with 150,000-plus seats that the track would be announcing a sellout well ahead of the game,'' Tennessee athletics director Dave Hart said. "To me, that was not anticipated by very many people.''
According to the report, tickets on the secondary market are going for $170 and up. Premium seating starts at closer to $400.
