Maybe. JJJ misses so many 3s with Noone around him he went from 36% year one, 30% year two. 22% right now.
Lsu just looked alot more athletic, they beat UT in every category.
Victor Bailey is another guy that went from a big time scorer at Oregon.. Averaged 11 points per game just last year. Now is almost a non factor lucky to get his 4 point one rebound AVG.

I watched the first half but that was it. Maybe they will get it together as the season progresses.
I like our guard play with Chandler, Zeigler, and Vescovi, but the rest of the team is pretty disappointing. Inside play is definitely lacking and everyone on the floor seems content to throw up 3 pointers. When the ball goes inside it usually comes out. Seems like our bigs are afraid to go up strong. I hate to mention it, but could coaching be a factor? These problems seem to keep reoccurring week after week. It seems like Coach Barnes is great at coaching guards and defense, but not the inside players. Maybe we just don't have much talent to coach inside. Schofield and Williams didn't have these problems last year.

But you are right, those guys played with a lot of passion and authority inside. Definitely miss those days

Ranked 237 nationally in three point percentage horrible.
Shooting 69% from foul line that's 11th in the SEC horrible.
Giving up 6.8 made 3's and only making 6.6 per game. Horrible.
UT is ranked 103 in rebounding that's 9th in the SEC barley holding off Wofford for that spot.
UT is ranked 39th in Blocks per game that looks good untill you realize that's not even top 5 in the SEC
True freshman leading team in points,assist, and steals you would think someone being coached up 3+ years in this program could lead the team in one of those categories.
It's both. You're either a beast inside or your not. I think Fulkerson wants to be, but he doesn't have the body to withstand the physicality.
However, what's the knock on Barnes? His tournament record isn't much. You have to have physically and mentally tough players to succeed come tournament time. Only the Schofield and Williams team had any success and one could argue they underperformed.

that team was full of 2 and 3 star players.
And stayed #1 for weeks and weeks.
Last couple teams had 4 and 5 stars coming off the bench, and they would have gotten man handled by that Schofiled Williams team
After thinking about it I knew it wasn't last year but I sure thought it was the year before. You're right. Time gets away from me. I turned 50 yesterday. It seems surreal. I have no idea where 50 years went. You young whippersnappers will get there eventually.

When you stay #1 that long, and let KY beat you in the SEC tournament then don't make it past the sweet 16 yeah I would say they underperformed in the tournament anyhow.
Branes is only had one decent tournament team in his coaching career final 4 with Kevin Durant on the team.
