Mountains with bottom fields. Thats how I grew up hunting. Ive hunted the flat lands and just wasnt into it like the mountains. Would love to hunt a place with big swamps.

I hunt rolling hills that have fields. I get my option of hunting the ridges or waiting for them to come out in the open.

Tall ridges and deep hollars is the only land I hunt. That may explain my early afternoon ground naps.

I like small hills but where i hunt the hils are steep.makes it hard if the turkey is on the other ridge.

My place is all wooded hills and valleys. Im in good shape so it doesn't bother me too much... The terrain worked to my advantage last year. They wouldn't come to me so I crawled to them. lol Most likey wouldn't have been able to get to them if I was on flat land or a field.

i will do whatever is needed of me to do to hunt them...although big hills towards east TN are hard for me to consider lol

hunted in Carthage a few times and felt like dying after a few up and downs of those hills....heck i am from FL those things were MOUNTAINS!
