How do yall think they will end up next year. They ended with a big win in a bowl game this year and are currently #3 in recruiting for 2019. Id say Jimbo has had a rather good start to his new high paying career at A&M. We will see how he does in the West but he is building some steam in the off season.

I think he will have a good year... I thought they looked completely different this years as to the years past. I think it will be between them and Bama for the West for awhile.

But I will say this... He better hope they make quick strides with him making $10 million PER YEAR!! :o

Texas A&M play ALABAMA tougher or as tough as anyone out there year end and year out. Always a fight.

I am actually surprised that A&M isn't already a bigger powerhouse in the SEC.
I figured they would come in strong with as many quality players as there are in Texas and this way they can stay at home and play in the SEC.

Guess most want to go to Texas though,,, dunno.

They better hurry because soon UCF will enter and DOMINATE the SEC!!! :rotf: :stir:

Sumlin is the cause of that... Had the talent and didn't know how to use it. If Manziel hadn't been as good as he was Sumlin wouldn't have lasted as long as he did. A&M is a sleeping giant with the facilities, money and willing to pay their coaches. I honestly think when Saban retires Jimbo will take over the SEC. Maybe not in as dominant fashion as Saban but pretty dang close.

UCF is a good team IMO, but put them in the SEC and they go 9-3 or at best 10-2
