Where I always get low down lol I need a pick up guys! We have our annual meeting at the lease tommorrow to see who is staying on and who is coming in, and me and dad are going up tonight and camping and stayin all weekend, but I have considered just setting in camp and shooting the bull with they guys. I havent got one yet this year and its kicking my arse. Gonna hunt in the morning but may just hang around camp and have some cold ones with the guys tommmorrow evening. Aint decided yet on sunday morning.
 
I've only been 6 times period, probably only going maybe 2 more times then it will be 100% fishing for me

The past 3 weekends have kicked my arse by the same bird! Too stubborn or stupid to leave him but I will be letting him alone this weekend. Aint hunted the lease all year so well see.

No kidding! I killed three right off of the bat, but the last week has been tough hunting for me as well. I've heard two gobbles all week long.
 
All of my hunts have been 1 - 2 hours max before work or before my son's baseball game and I've yet to kill one. Hoping that all changes in the morning but I'll chase 'em until the day it closes every chance I get (which isn't enough). That said sitting around camp and just hanging out is not a bad idea either. Looking forward to doing that in the fall.
 
Best of luck this weekend. I feel your pain, it has been a bad year for me also. I rarely post or read this forum anymore but...I just noticed your signature...Have I done something to offend you?
 
You should just go on and hunt. They have been hot here the last few times Ive been out, course thats under the mountain on the other side of Fentress from you though. Check out my facebook for some pics of a 1.5 inch spurred gobbler I called in for my fiance Friday. That was an old turkey and he just ran to the gun gobbling the whole way.
