Here's a video from yesterday's hunt with Fleet Fox. We were supposed to try and take out the coyote responsible for killing the boss bird, but there were....well, distractions.

First the strutter that he missed because of a bad shell that cracked like a .22 instead of boom like a turkey shell.

Then the bird we found way back where I killed a couple this year.

This is the same bird I filmed sitting in the shade, and later breeding a hen when I shot the triple beard last week. Yes I know for a fact it's him. Definitely one of the best hunts all year.

Now it's time for a date with that cute blonde responsible for eating Turkzilla.

Nice video, good luck on the yote, i am about to open a package with a yote i killed and sent off to have it soft tanned back at the end of January.

If I wore flip flops I'd step on ever thorn and have ticks crawl all up my leg. Nice video and congrats on the bird.
strangely I had the least ticks crawl on me that day compared to the last couple weeks.

I guess flip flops is better than nothing. I used to hog hunt with an old fella and when he came to a hill he would pull his boots and socks off. He would tie his boots together with a string and throw them over his shoulder with his socks inside. Said he got better traction. Lol!! Hurt me to watch him go. Nice video!

I did creep through a thicket once earlier this season in bare feet. Much quieter, if you don't hit a thorn

Congrats! One in flip flops the other in what looked like blue pants, but that don;t matter you got it done.

Yeah, I still had on my pants from cutting grass all day. Our intention was to kill a coyote, so I wasn't too worried about being in camo because of the distance I could shoot and the amount of cover. Once we got side-tracked back to turkeys, I had to borrow a shirt from Catman and luckily had my mask in the truck. We used thick cover and the shade to hide.

good work.....im working on the video of my 2nd bird and trying to figure out how to setup the intro leading into the actual hunt where encountered the same bird and filmed them roosted a week prior and the day the jakes ran them off.
