Where I hunt, turkeys roost at wherever they end up that afternoon, I have called birds in right before dark, and they never offered me a shot, and just flew up in a the surrounding trees around my blind, so they would be next to what they thought was a hen, first thing in the morning, but they will stay in the general area, but come spring time, the bachelor groups that you may have seem during the fall will be most likely all split up, other than a few boss toms sticking together, but you will have a good chance of calling in a bird from where you seen them in the fall, some turkeys will cover up to a mile of distance to check out a hot hen that he heard
