The old saying "it isnt over until the fat lady sings" - Well... she has sung, because turkey season is officially over for Tennesseans.

My third turkey season has come and went like the grain of sand in a wind storm. Seen lots of birds and had several coming my way, but got lost in the shuffle for one reason or another.

Went to Ga the first weekend in April, didnt see anything, but it was the start of a "Hunt of a lifetime". Got an invitation to hunt in Montana with NWTF. Where I tagged my first turkey and my first merriam. 3 first - Montana, Turkey & Merriam.

Hope everyone's season was filled with memories and the desire for next season.

NWTF has three hunts in Montana for "invitation only". These people that they take are Regional Directors & Volunteers. A friend of mine in GA is an event cooridnator for Women In The Outdoors (volunteer, no pay). Her Chapter has done over the extreme in their yearly weekend event. She was invited and I was her guest.

YES, it was a Hunt of a Lifetime!
