Anyone watching?

This is gonna be good! First episode has been great. I was 4 years old when MJ joined the league. Sure was fun watching him growing up.

Word is that the bulls were known as something like "the traveling cocaine circus" back in those days. Lol

Watched the first episode last night, will go back and watch 2 sometime this week.
Enjoyed it. I was born in 87 so MJ & the bulls were synonymous with basketball growing up.
I had not seen much of MJ's early stuff in the league. I really enjoyed that footage.

Excited for 3 & 4 tonight.
Well, 3 at least, may not be able to stay awake for 4.
I've been watching old nfl films tapes in espn this afternoon.

I saw 2, 3, and 4 last night.

I enjoyed it.

I had forgotten how much I hated Detroit during that time.

Some great teams back in the day.

Dennis Rodman is an odd one but anything about him is pure entertainment. I have really enjoyed the first 4 episodes but especially 3 and 4 from last night. Carmen Electra was hiding behind the couch from Michael Jordan  If she was behind the couch, reckon what was in his bed? :tu:

Caught up on 3 & 4 yesterday.
Still enjoy that old footage. Heard some discussion on XM about how important Doug Collins was to MJ's legacy because he allowed him to post those incredible individual stats. I think the timing was right & the bulls would have won at least one championship without Phil, but I don't know that they would have had 6. Managing personalities and egos is a big time job.

This reminded me that the last two episodes are tomorrow (Sunday) night.

I missed last week but caught them later.

Unless I'm mistaken, Sunday is episode 7-8.

That would make next Sunday episodes 9-10.

You are correct. Glad I was wrong. I'm really enjoying the series.

Final two were last night.

Great documentary that brought back a lot of memories.

I almost took Michael Jordan fishing years ago...I'll tell you about that one day.

Good documentary, but definitely some skewed perspectives IMO.

Loved the "Bad Boys" back in the day, they were my team...was never an Isiah fan though. Jordan is the GOAT for sure though.

I finished this up a couple days after 9&10 aired. I really enjoyed it and I'll probably go back through it sometime.
I was born in '87 so still pretty young when MJ was winning championships. To think back, I just remember how the Bulls were the best team & MJ was the best player, period. I don't remember the drama about gambling or the issues with Jerry Krause or any of that. It was just good old fashioned wide eyed amazement.
It's been fun to see how even "back then" there was still plenty of drama, some of it fabricated just like it is today.

Tons of little tidbits I loved from this but one that jumps to top of mind is how Bird & Karl Malone both came out to congratulate MJ after he beat them in '98. Larry as a coach of course but catching up with MJ in the hallway and the quick convo they had where they were giving each other $hit but you could tell the respect was there. After the finals, Malone came into the bus to say congrats to MJ & that team. It's like they knew they had been caught up in something special & had to pay their respects.
To stay with Karl Malone for a minute, I loved the clip of him & Rodman beating the hell out of each other, and then they slapped each other on the ass and moved on. Different game back then.

It probably was biased, but I honestly don't care. To me, it solidified all the reasons MJ is the GOAT. I mentioned it earlier but I think it bears repeating that it was worth watching just for the old game footage. Especially the early stuff, that was a real treat to watch some of those old highlights.
