The Slant

I think the slant is the least of CJP's problems going into this game. Will have to stop the run, deep ball. and young QB from throwing several picks to Bama's DBs.... :tu:
 
I think Pruitt said it best yesterday when he said Alabama has to work really hard not to score 100 points a game. He mentioned that Saban has been really kind to a lot of teams, including TN last year.

It will be another boat race game. Hope the Vols can compete for a little while and don't get a bunch of folks hurt.

I am not sure if its Saban being kind as its Saban playing it smart by protecting his 1st and 2nd string players,,,keeping them healthy and providing some playing time in the depth for the future.

Ive been on record saying that Tua is somewhat fragile. Clearly they have changed up the offense this season to protect him and not let him scramble for plays unless its needed. The Oline is doing a much better job of protecting him and when there is not a play downfield instead of him trying to make something happen like in years past he just lets the ball go. Me thinks Tua will get killed in the NFL. Just my thoughts.
