Golly, and I thought Vanderbilt scored quick. Lol
We should get to learn a little bit more about the vol defense today now that they aren't playing such a strange offense.

21-0

Second string running back with a kickoff return.

3ed string HB with 4 carries 40+ yards 2 TDs.

Defense still looks confused on runs to the outside.

They are shaky on Defense.Giving up to many yards to a team that is not that good.

I believe they can score at will.
I agree, offense looks fine as QD throws a TD pass, special teams look good as always under CBJ.

QD 10-12 with a TD now, believe his are guy this year unless he falls apart against the SEC.

Defense still giving up to many rush yards that will be the down fall.

You are right about that.
The vols freaking special teams play has been unreal the whole tenure of jones. Special teams wins games.
The st play last week was really what allowed the win versus a good Georgia tech team.

Well they not playing the best ball, but 2-0 on to Florida we will see.....

If UF can't score on that Vols D then they really do have bad problems lol.

I haven't seen much of the game but what I've seen the vols looked good.

Especially on the score board!! Lol

That last td pass was pretty. Looks like the vols have found their qb to me.

Doug Matthews said that we've not seen what the Tennessee defense really is. The first 2 games were played with 3 LB scheme. The "normal" scheme will be 2 LB.

Yup 4-2-5 is the Defense the vols will run.

We also had 2 starting LBs out which didn't help at all trying to stop that option GT ran even Indiana state Ran a lot of cut blocking sweep plays.

Should get one of those guys back next week.

They did play better still was not impressed.
