Grab a doe bleat, 2 grunt calls, and your antlers... Hit the doe bleat 1 time, contact grunts on one call. wait 5 mins. contact grunt on the 2nd call, snort wheeze, then rattle the antlers for about 20 secs. Snort wheeze again, then grunt and put everything down for about 30-45 mins.... Be alert, both with eyes or ears...

Think of it like this... Roaming buck enters area, and sees/hears doe. He says hi to her... Local Buck says "Nope, she's mine". they Fight... Winner walks away with the prize.

I did this a few years ago in the piney woods of East Texas... Had a 4.5 yr old eight come in mad at the world, snorting , grunting, hair all bristled up... Then another buck about 40 yrds away let loose a grunt. The 8 laid down 12 yards from my tree. A 3rd Deer started grunting out in front of me, just over a hill... It was an absolute hoot. I was trapped in the stand and couldn't move because the 8 was there until my partner brought his SxS in and spooked them off..
