Either that or there just wasn't any turkeys where I was[emoji1] I went to a farm in Columbia that I'm guiding on for the governor's hunt Saturday and never heard the first gobble, didn't see any turkeys either. I'm sure they're around there somewhere though I just figured they would have gobbled good this morning.

Anyone else out listening?

I didn't have time to look, I was on my way to work and stopped and sat at the gate and listened for about an hour. I left about 7:15. The landowner says there are a bunch there.

I went out on my back porch this morning but didnt hear any!!I saw a gobbler and 7 hens in my field a couple evenings ago!
 
In my area they're breeding like crazy right now...toms roosting right alongside hens. Sometimes if they can see their hens in the trees around them all they do is drum/strut on the limb, then pitch right down and go straight to making baby turkeys.
 
What time are y'all listening and putting them to bed in the evening?!? Think I went to early last night?!?

I heard 3 this morning. Gobbled great on the roost, then quiet after flydown.

Haven't roosted any yet but they have been gobbling in the mornings around 6:10 in my area.

About 6:10 For my area too. They gobbled great the last 2 mornings. I didn't listen this morning as I had to be at work but will be out there Friday morning listening. I'm guiding a DAV on the 1 shot governor hunt too
 
Put a group of about 15 to bed at 710 tonight. Didn't think they were ever going to leave the field.
