I'm thinking about trading my Matthews DXT for a Z7. Wondering what you guys might think. What kind of prices are you guys seeing? Mike Ashe in Michie has them I believe for $739.00.

Yea, only problem I have with the DXT is its very unforgiving. Never been one to trade often, just hearing so much about the Z7. Mike says its the best bow Matthews has ever came out with. just wondering

i didn't find the DXT unforgiving at all but then again, i have been shootin a zmax for 12+ yrs. and it IS unforgiving.

I bought my Z7 from him last January and have loved it from day one. Two weeks later I bought my wife the passion by mathews. Mike took extra time to properly fit us both and show us some shooting tips to help out first time bow hunters. It is the only shop I will use for purchasing any archery accessories and well worth the hour drive from Jackson for the customer service.

Thats because Mike wants to sell you one. Never ask a salesman if the new bows are better. Remember his advice is free his bows are not. Do your homework LONG before you go in to buy anything!

That's wisdom there ;)

I stuck with an old(er) Hoyt for several years. I shot everything that came out, but nothing convinced me to change. The year the Drenalin came out I finally found something that felt better so I bought one. I try all of them every year, but I'm still stuck on the Drenalin. The one that continues to tempt me though is the Alphamax.

Now target bows, I'll change those at the drop of a hat :D

I agree . Proshops want to sell you the latest and greatest . They are in the business to make money . If the Z7 shoots better in your hands , buy it . If not , keep the Drenalin. It's your choice.

i am/was a Bowtech guy...shot the Z7 and fell in love! best bow i have had since my 07 ally(still have)and bought it from Mike at michie. Mike does want to sell bows.....that's his business!!!!
