I am new to turkey hunting. I didn't get to go this morning due to a prior obligation. Do y'all think it would be good this evening or just go in morning before church?

Yes. Got there and another hunter got their truck stuck. I helped get it unstuck and since it was still pouring here in Cookeville i got soaking wet and muddy. After that I just called it a day and went home. Try again in morning

Heard a couple gobble on each side of the ridge this morning but they both stopped after a couple gobbles each.

I can now see how turkey hunting is addicting after hearing the gobbles and knowing that they were close.
