Quarterback De'Andre Johnson, Tyreke's older brother, signed to play football at Florida State in the class of 2015. However, an off-field incident led to De'Andre being dismissed from the football program. It was expected that Tyreke would follow in his older brother's footsteps, but that no longer looks to be the case. Johnson made it clear that he feels Cook is still on the team because he is is established star, while his brother, who was accused of a similar crime, was not.

"Florida State. Great coaches, just a sad situation," said Johnson. "My thing is, what's going to stick with me and Florida State? If they keep Dalvin Cook on the team, I'm not going to Florida State ... You know, it depends on what they do with this situation. Because, to me, that means that they are showing favorites to guys who already made plays, rather than guys, who... well, my brother made plays in the spring game and was going to be the starting quarterback. He did the best overall. It shows me that they don't stick by their players, they pick favorites."

De'Andre Johnson, like Cook, was immediately suspended. Johnson was dismissed after video emerged of him viciously pushing a woman in the face. Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher said last week that he has no tolerance for hitting women.

"There's no tolerance for hitting women," Fisher said during his hour-long press conference at the ACC Kickoff in Pinehurst, N.C. last Tuesday. "...You think you would never, ever have to say that."

Great timing to post this Gator. UF 3 crimes in 3 weeks. This should take the heat off Florida. :tu: This guy has it wrong though. He can't hold FSU hostage. Should worry more about not doing what his brother did. When does he commit to UF? Mackelwang has lost control. I will help you keep up with the penalty phase for the 3 players ,you seem to be interested in that kinda thing. :tu: :bore:

Stealing $60.00 from poor Bowling Alley or $30.00 from poor Publix. Add it up Trey. Ur wishy washy. Good or bad Trey, what do you think? :bore:

Misdemeanors in the second degree are the least serious misdemeanors in the state of Florida with a normal maximum sentence of up to 60 days in jail or a maximum $500 fine. Neither player was formally arrested and due to the low totals that each walked out on it is likely that both cases will be wrapped up quickly with each paying restitution to the state/establishment.
