Thought long and Hard

hunting lease-$350.00
benelli sbe II- $1500.00
gas to lease and back-$40.00
vest-$65.00
rhino choke-$125.00
nikon scope on sbe $150.00
getting up at 4am.
if the performance of this shell is that lil extra thing that makes the hunt succesful, then whats another 8 bucks?

At first I was totally leery of the price per shell and wouldn't even give them a try. After doubling down on 2 toms with a buddy of mine and seeing the results (his bird stone dead and mine flopping, running, and trying to fly away)I will not hunt without them in my 870 unless it's a serious money shortage! Those things do nothing but kill turkeys.

I have never seen a dead turkey that didn't flop. Not saying it dosent happen just never seen it. A chicken will almost run away after you cut his head off.

under 30 hardly ever have one flop

Nitros are very expensive (unit cost) when compared to other very capable alternatives (3" lead, etc), however, their performance speaks for itself. As mentioned above, if one hunts a lot of days throughout the season, Nitro are relatively inexpensive ($50-75 season) when compared to many of the other costs associated with turkey hunting.

Yep, I agree 100% if TSS ever gets to the point where I can't load as cheap as I can buy 10 gauge nitro I'll be buying from them

I have seen several since I switched to HTL years back.

While it's not the norm, I've witnessed it several times over the years.

I shot a gobbler at 12 yards, a couple years back, with 2-3/8 oz of Hevi #5, he never moved but good lawd what a mess, looked like a chainsaw had been used on his head

They don't flop when u shoot them with a nitro. Close range they flip over backwards. Long range they nose dive into the ground.
