Saturday morning after I shot my longbeard these three jakes treated my dying bird really poorly. Guess they had a score to settle.

That gobbler had more get up and go than I would prefer after the shot.
Yeah that why I broke up the whoopen when I did…thought I better secure my bird.
I've seen jakes run a lone gobbler off more than once so good deal on getting the shot off before they did. Congrats!!!

I've often heard of that happening after a kill, but I've never seen it myself. Congratulations on your bird!
