i can shoot 2 inch groups at 30 yards with my field tips.. but everytime.. no matter how good the bow is tuned.. when i put the broadheads on 100gr tunderheads the bow shoots of and not straight but kinda with a loop..

anyone ever used broadheads that shot exactly as their field points??

Right now it looks like my Slick Tricks are shooting the same as my field points. I've shot back to 40 yds with no change in impact. I'll check at 50 this evening (with no intent to shoot a deer at that distance, just checking the tuning). This is a first for me. In times past with other broadheads I've had to retune and/or adjust sights.

There are many variables that affect arrow flight. While Slick Tricks are a little more forgiving than Thunderheads, changing broadheads may or may not solve your problem. Thunderheads are quality broadheads for which good flight can usually be achieved. If your arrows are not spined correctly for your bow or you have fletching interferance, you will not get great flight out of any head.

muzzys...natorious for flying poorly have flown great out of my bow and buddies bows that I have set up. Its all about tunning and a few tricks. Quick fix is to change to a mech or small diameter, short ferrel cutting head like slick tricks

Slick Tricks !

I have shot 100 grn Thunderheads for many years. Just this year I won a pack of Slick trick magnum 100's, and guess what, both of them shoot within an inch of each other. I may just give the tricks a try this Fall.

Yes, my Muzzys fly right with my field points out to 40 yards. How have you confirmed your bow is tuned? Maybe some on here can help you.

My muzzy's fly great all the way to 80 yards. I have a few times shot (using the muzzy pack as the target) put 6 shots into
the pack at 80 yards.

anybody have better experiance with a certain size slicktrick than the others. i think they make a 1 in. , 1 1/4 and 1 1/8 or something like that.

Whatever . :D

At 80 yards even shooting with a small pin it would cover up atleast 12 or so inches of what you where aiming at.

Thats hard with a mf'in crossbow!
