these broaheads fly great! they shoot about 4 to 5 inches high but not a hard ajustment to fix .... Do we have any other thunderhead fans??

I have shot Thunderheads in the past and have nothing but good things to say about this broadhead. They shot a little high for me when I shot them as well. But flight was good and straight.

bring that thing up here and we will try some broad head tuning .

Used to shoot them until I had the aluminum main ferule bend with lost blades on two shoulder shot deer. Hell of a tracking job. Went to Wasp Boss SST and won't look back. Shorter profile, stronger main body, fly like field points.

Started shooting Tunderheads when they first came out and I have tried other head (out of curiosity) and always seem to come back to the Thunderhead. I shoot the 125's but I would not hesitate to shoot the 100's.

I have never had one fail in any way. I have missed my target and shot bricks, 2X4's, Garage door (don't ask) and other hard surfaces and the arrow would break, but the head would not. The blades might chip on the edges but that would be about it.

I used them for a while. Good broadhead for sure and the reason I switched to muzzy probably does not apply to hunting. I was practicing and my release died (did not realize at first that was the problem) and hit a concrete wall with 100 gr. thunderhead tipped arrow. The broadhead exploded and there was no evidence (none at all today, this was many years ago) of a broadhead hitting the wall. I was given some muzzy's and had one on an arrow to try. My release would hold til I got to full draw and then let go, you could not safety it, I was pulling 80 lbs at 50 percent let off. I also shot the concrete wall with the muzzy. To this day there is still a muzzy in the wall. Impressed me.

Seriously?

If I ever decide to hunt concrete walls, I will use Muzzy.

Both are good heads for wild game , not sure about concrete game , Lol ! :D

One more thing , my field points are very strong and could penetrate concrete , but that does not make them reliable , cutting heads , that kill game quickly .

Can't you read? I guess I need to explain, I said probably does not apply to hunting, but since you need the extra explanation, I am the world's greatest concrete hunter. I kill my limit every season.

Radar I don't ever shoot or hunt with field points. Maybe that works good for you. Muzzys with new blades are more than good enough. I have killed several does shooting them almost head on and my arrows exited the back of the deer, complete pass thru and my best buck with a bow ever from the ground was at 42 yards from the ground, shot quartering to me through the front shoulder, exited through a back rib and stuck in the ground, walked about 20 steps and fell over. Field dressed 180 lbs. I will stick with my muzzys.

I like thunderheads but they have come apart after a shot. my blades may be beat up after a shot (I always hunt with brand new blades) but the muzzys have always been intact.

I was being sarcastic about field points . My point was , just because a head can penetrate concrete , and another will not , doesn't really make that a better head . I shot Muzzys for years with great results . I still have some in my broadhead box . I prefer lower profile fixed blade heads such as my G5 Strikers and Slick Tricks these days . I do like Muzzys better than the Thunderheads I shot for years , and do agree they have better blade retention . I was pulling your chain regarding the concrete wall . ;)

HH,
I was also being sarcastic, must be an old person thing.

Actually I love Muzzy heads. They are great heads. And decently priced.

But I decided long ago I like killing LOTS of deer every season. LOTS.

And between arrows and broadheads, licencses and extra tags, I have tried to MINIMIZE my cost per kill.

THis is why I switched to Magnus.

I would never sacrifice quality for price.
I want a great flying head with a super scary sharp blade that kills deer.
THen I want this for a good price.

Free is a good price.

I don't have any stock or interest in their company, but we have killed LITERALLY HUNDREDS of deer now with these heads, and they work GREAT!!!

And the company is even BETTER.

Just pack them up, and send them in for a FREE replacement.

I really do want to help get the word out about this company.
It has been very good to us.
