My time in the woods has been limited so far so Thursday I am heading to what used to be my honey hole. 800 acres of private mountain ground here in Grundy. It is where I learned to hunt, I used to tag out every year. One day the turkeys left and never came back. Its been 4 years since I hunted there. I am going to make the long trek up the mountain to see if they have returned. Hopefully when I come down I will be carrying a lot more than I brought in.
