We went to brush and found our blind had moved 140 yards dragging both spud poles. Got it moved back, and tied off, but we're gonna have to put some anchors on and hope we get enough weight. Chains that were supposed to hold the poles in place wither pulled hard enough against to break one top and one bottom, or they had a little help. Reelfoot, first year in this spot out from Sunset. Looks like it's gonna be an interesting year....

Seems a couple of teenagers or young men usually show up at about this time asking to cut some switch cane for their blinds. I don't think it is the same guys every year though. I've got a good spot that was pushing into the ag section to take them if they show.

Must be. Several small red oak trees and limbs from larger oaks have been cut by trespassers to brush blinds in our area.
Brush for Camo must be harder to come by now a days. Most fences rows have been stripped of the red oak limbs. Never did I ever dream that brush would be such demand that people would steal for it.

a boat winch and an small engine block will stop that. That area of the lake catches lots of wind and then waves
