Tiny baby turkey!

I went to look at another piece of property Im thinkn about buying. As I pull in there are 2 hens with about a dozen babies. All my other properties the babies are almost as big as an average hen. But these babies on this property were tiny. I mean not much bigger than a baby chicken. Wonder why they were so late hatching?

If hens lose a clutch, they'll have a second or even a third. Sometimes predators get them all or nests get flooded etc.

For the last couple weeks I've seen a hen with 3 or 4 poults about the size of a nerf football, I was wunder'n the same question...why so late, now I know.
