Titans new owner......

I seen that yesterday on bleacher report, says he may retire soon and his always wanted to run and manage a team. Think they said the titans would be up for sell soon and its been heard he might try to become the owner of the Tennessee titans.

Saw that also,it would please me to death.I think it said the cost would be between 1 and 2 billion. :tu:

I hope it happens.

Would be cool to have him as player and owner, but I don't see that happening.

Maybe the NFL will allow him to be owner of one team and still play for the Broncos. He has at least two good seasons left in the tank, and probably four.

He could always hire Eli to play for the Titans.

^^^ Im sure he has some gas left in the tank:/ and he could ball better then ALOT of starting QB's in the NFL.
But how much does his body Hurt? Thats the question? I watched ole kobe Bryant's interview after he passed MJ on the all time scoring list. The reporter asked if he would be around long enough to pass the other two guys on the list he never said, he just said his body hurts bad every single day Im guessing payton feels the same way because his age and the surgerys:/ If he play 2-4 more years good for him:) he dont I understand. wanted him to come to Tennessee as a player after the Colts picked Luck over him he didnt went to Denver and to a super bowl:/ no matter what happens the NFL will not be the same after he leaves:) one of the best QB's in NFL history even if he only has 1 ring.

Sorry to burst the vol bubble, but Manning doesn't have near the money to buy any NFL franchise. He may end up being a minority owner, but he'd have to be a billionaire to buy a team. Ain't enough passes or pizzas for that.

Archie, Peyton, and Eli could probably come up with the coins to do it. By that, I mean with enough of their money and some mega high roller that just wants to own a football team and stay out of the football part of it. It could be a great thing for the Manning's and the Titans. With his neck in the shape it's in, and the pounding Eli has taken in NY over the last 2-3 years it would make sense for them both to call it quits after this year. I realize it's a long shot, but hey if you're gonna dream, dream big.

The majority of the most successful business men never use all their own money for a big investment. I have no doubt Peyton could make it happen if the franchise is for sale.

No, your not sorry to burst the vol bubble. That's what you live for. Other than Peyton being a former Vol, this thread was about buying the Titans, or so I thought. If Peyton had legitimate interest in owning the Titans, I'm sure he could.

Well, considering that all NFL owners are much wealthier than all three Manning put together, I'll have to say you viols are nuts. We can leave the Packers out as they're publically owned.

Of course he will have to have an investor to help him write the check. My gosh I think pretty much everyone understands that. You think he would have a problem finding one? I think not. I'm sure he could make one phone call and that's all it would take.

BTW toenail I think there are less than 500 people (billionaires) in the US that could write that check without any help.

So there isnt a billionaire investor anywhere that wouldnt think it was a good idea to invest in the Titans with Peyton Manning? Pretty sure you are nuts.

I think it said something like peyton is real close to the Browns owner? Maybe he helps him? and that its been reported manning been quoted saying he would like to own a team one day.
