Building selfbows,vendors with traditional archery equipment,a campfire going 24/7, practice targets set up,novelty shoot,Saturday night feed under the pavillion,picking and grinning,primitive camping on-site. You can pick out a stave,pay for it, then get to work building a bow to shoot the 40 round Rinehart target tourney Saturday/Sunday. Door prizes,concessions,family atmosphere-$20 dollar registration- Directions: from Nashville-I-24 West towards Clarksville,exit at Maxey Road before Clarksville(Exit #19) go to Hwy. 41.Turn right and drive about 5 miles until you see the large "Twin Oaks Bowhunters" signs set up on the left side of Hwy.#41 and follow them into the archery range. Portolets will be strategically located throughout the event including near the primitive campsites. A portable showerhouse will also be available. This is a TRADITIONAL ONLY EVENT-PLEASE NO COMPOUNDS OR CROSSBOWS. There will be a recurve,longbow,and selfbow class. This event usually draws approximately 400 plus so make plans to attend early if you are camping and staying all weekend.
