Von Pearson accused of rape. Heard it on 105.1 local ESPN radio. Said at the jail as of now.

Not taking up for players on any team but seems more and more females are saying this. IF the players aren't doing it then the females needs to be punished!!! Could be many reasons why girls say this. I know in Treons case he had a gf and the girl he hooked up with was pissed he didn't break it off and make her his bf

Lockem up, lock Winston up, lock vandy thugs up (wait they did).....I have no loyalty to thugs.....wish everyone felt the same and we wouldn't see this on a weekly basis

Already suspended from all team activities, if found guilty boot him for good and lock him up. Why do these guys put themselves in position for this to happen. Just stupidity on their part.
 
Dunno the details, but I am glad that Butch is being proactive about it. It seems that the police department is actually investigating it (Tallahassee may want to take notes). I think that so far, from what I have seen, the guys in Knoxville are doing things right in this case.
 
College football players + college girls + parties + alcohol = a bad combination

Football players need to be careful to determine which of these girls really want to party and sleep with them and which girls are just there for the party. There are plenty of loose girls ready and willing to have sex with these players. I saw this first hand in college, and it was pathetic.
 
Athletes these days are really stupid or there's a lot of girls crying foul after wishing they hadn't been so free with their bodies. A star athlete can have "friends" at the drop of a hat so I don't understand why they would force themselves on any woman. If he's guilty fry him with the rest of the worlds rapist. If he's cleared and she's just a bitter woman who had sex with an athlete that didn't stick around for a relationship then she should be jailed for dragging his name through the mud.
 
I think a lot of this trend started years ago when these kids were in Pee Wee. If your a star athlete you are treated different from an early age. Recruiting starts in middle school and these kids are constantly being told they are the best and they are special. By the time a kid gets to collage he has been "the man" for a while. He gets it in his head that rules don't apply. Youth sports have become a year around thing. You have AAU or travel ball or 7 on 7. It has become a business. Collage football is BIG business, so you don't recruit the 2 star hard working kid with high morals, when you have a shot at the 5 star kid who was never told no. I feel horrible about saying it, but there are girls that think they have a shot at a future millionaire or a quick lawsuit I am sure as well. It's all really sad I guess. Either a young woman has been scarred forever or a young man will have doubts about his character forever.
