should be awesome!

Of course, I tell myself that every day :) !

Seriously, I will be greatly disappointed if the birds aren't looking for love and screaming their heads off!

Hope it's better than today, zero gobbling. I'm hoping Hardeman county is better than Fayette county

Been working my way around the mountain this past week hitting different spots. Turkeys been cranking up mid-morning pretty good. Only problem is they've been a swarm of super jakes. I've called to the gun 3 separate hard gobbling jakes in the past 3 days.. Came real close to pulling the trigger on one at 10:00 today after sticking with him for an hour and a half. Unlike the other two, this one did not strut and I did not see his 4in beard till he turned at the last minute. Was on his neck and fixin to pull the trigger. He was the luckiest gobbler on the mountain this morning :)

Kinda weird but i only heard one gobbler gobble 4 times from the roost but after fly down I heard 4 different gobblers but none on the property I hunt.

Heading to a property I've only hunted once this morning. Taking the owners brother for his first hunt. Haven't even scouted this place in two years, in fact only one time have I been on the farm. Good looking spot, so we'll see.

Well I'm disappointed. Very little distant on roost. Nothing since. On bright side not in a hurry today so can stick with them a while to see what late morning holds.

Good luck

Thanks, but that was a bust. On the drive out, a hen and TWO gobblers crossed right in front of me. And this was close to my first listen spot this morning :livid: !

Tomorrow morning is gonna STINK (maybe reverse psychology will work) .
