Started off great had 7 or 8 gobbling on roost cutting me off and then when they flew down went completely silent and didn't hear another gobble until 6:15 this evening idk what I did wrong or what I mean they was hot and heavy until they flew down

You did nothing wrong more than likely, they're probably with hens. However, if you should be cautious hunting them all day long by the time the hens start nesting they'll be almost impossible to kill.

Try and get close to them on the roost, and make them come down to you before their hens hit the ground. If that doesn't work leave them be unless they're gobbling on the ground

Henned up man! They like their women a little on the realistic side. :) It's early, you could possibly go hammer one of the same birds tomorrow.

I feel your pain, the two birds that I saw last night were quiet...main group was sounding off till I heard a gun shot in the distance....then they went silent, so I went to a spot, set up, blind called and a hen immediately responded....she flew down to me...walked off to my right....then a tom sounded off...so I called and he cut me off....then I shut up, he gobbled....and I was patient....he came over a ridge at 100yds and I thought it was going to be easy....except he stayed to the right....and followed the real deal...but he put on a show for me for a few minutes.....there is always tomorrow.....
