Seems most of our birds are a lil behind schedule. Some are still bunched up in big flocks. Went both mornings and only heard a couple gobbles on the roost and zero after fly down. Riding around mid day I'm still seeing strutters with hens all day. Maybe it's these frosty mornings or are they just a week or 2 later than normal? I will keep after em and keep looking at all these success stories and pics y'all are posting. This is the first year in a long time I haven't killed on opening weekend. Good luck.

Over thisaway they're about right and the big noticeable breakups should be this week. Between yesterday and today I've seen one bunch of 3-4 tons and 10 hens go to a single longbeard with 2-3 hens apiece scattered out and roosting in different spots.

It's getting right.
