Tracer nock

what did we do twenty years ago with out lighted nocks..just another gimmic to take your money...

I use them and really like them, I have lost my share of arrows but none since I started using them

I don't have them, I'm thinking about investing in them tho. Just for the fact that I seem to lose several arrows in the woods. They would pay for theirself in the long run.

tryed them today,,, cool,, I know their exp,, but to see the knock lit up is pretty cool,, 90 hr life cant beat it... 12 grains over the regular nock bob...

from somebody who has obviously never seen one disappear in a deer's ribs. the last 4 deer i have arrowed were with luminocks. i'll never be without at least one in my quiver.

I have used them just to say I did. They are neat. THe first deer I killed with the lightted nock was a doe. THen the buck that was following her and came back to see what was wrong with her and noticed the nock in the ground nearby.

I have not, and may not, entered any of my P/Y kills for submission into the official book. I did not use a lighted nock on those kills, but I found out that P/Y does not allow deer taken with lighted nocks into the books. When I am hunting for BIG bucks, I just leave them at home. When we are shooting video, I often use them.

I have also found that not all lighted nocks fly the same so I test every one out first.

Also, they are easy to make with a bobber light.

I used the Lumenocks for the first time last year. Got a doe right before dark, by the time I waited, packed everything up and got over there it was pitch black. I was able to walk straight to the arrow with no searching. That is the best part for me, being able to walk straight to your arrow without searching high and low.

I have found another GREAT use for this nock. I often hunt VERY un-familiar locations. It is not un-common for me to walk 45 minutes or more, hard walking, in difficult terrain. Not that I am concerned about getting lost, but rather finding the EXACT right route to and fro my stand.

When I do kill a deer after dark, sometimes a BIG, heavy deer, I'll pack out my gear first. In order to get back easily to my stand to begin blood trailing, or even if I mark my downed deer, I'll light up a nock and put it high in a conspicuous place, to guide me back to the beginning of the b/t. Those suckers shine forever in pitch black. And take up NO ROOM in my pack.

see for me I think that much weight on the tail end of an arrow would really mess up FOC. If they didn't weigh so dang much I would use them.

they have no noticable effect on arrow flight.
