If your trail camera gets moisture in the battery compartment or inside the lens covering just open it and put it in a bag of rice overnight to dry it out...... but (very important part here), leave the sd card in it so a piece of rice dosen't get jammed down in the sd compartment......

If it does, a very slinder blade can finally pop it out..... that is all...lol
 
Another good tip is to place Gorilla brand camo tape around the edges to help keep out moisture. This can be particularly good if your cam's door opens from the top (as many older cams do). Many newer cams have smaller doors near the cam's bottom.
