Was just wondering what camera is the best in the $150 and less range? I'm looking for a good flash more than high pic quality as long as I can tell what I'm looking at.

I'm running bushnell trail scouts and they've done well for years but I'm missing out due to poor flash distance.

Any help would be great and appreciated.

I like my moultries as well! I have several L-50 and a few D-50 and they work well for me.

D55IR takes great daytime photos. Flash isnt the best.....35-40 feet at night and somewhat blurry. Trigger speed is slow........about 2.5 second trigger speed. Check out http://www.trailcampro.com/ for reviews on what's out there.

wildgame 50 bucks at walmart or dicks works great and takes great pics

you can download a faster delay for yours from their website I did. As fast as a 5 second delay

Yeah the update gives you a shorter delay but the initial trigger speed is still slower than I wish it would be. I just got a D-55IR on sale for $75 at wal mart and also going to try a Primos truth 46IR i got for $65. If anybody has any experience with this one give me some tips.

I just got a wildgame - 89.00 - 4 c cells instead of 8 aa's - we'll see how it works - doesn't seem to be as rugged as the scoutguards -

A friend of mine uses wild game and they do a good job.

I've seen so many problems from them that I can no longer recommend any of the cheaper cams.
