Anyone else use trail cams to help with your turkey scouting? I love doing it especially if I know birds are using a certain area. It helps me pattern them.
I do simply because we have 35 greenfields. Tells me what fields they're, aka has the most grasshoppers, usually they're roosting on a nearby hardwood hillside.
Been using them for years. It allows me to know how many different longbeards I have in my area and also how many potential longbeards I'll have next year.
I will also use them during the season, if the birds have stopped gobbling, at an entrance to a food plot we have just to see what time they are using it, if any.
