Trent Richardson simulated Leonard Fournette

Looks like Nick's found a new wrinkle to throw into the process -- elite practice squads. I remember a few years ago that he was complaining that it was difficult to prep for A&M with Johnny Manziel because Bama didn't have anyone to accurately simulate him. This looks like the answer -- go out and hire a "simulator." I bet you'll see several of the top programs doing this over the next few years. Heck, I can see it evolving into a cottage industry: NFL washouts travel from university-to-university to provide realistic looks of elite players -- for a nice price, of course $$$. This will be something else that separates the money-rich elite programs from the rest.

i think i read where they used ozzie newsome to simulate hurd

:rotf:

You mean Hurd might play TE.... I was told on here that i'm crazy to think that Hurd should play TE due to his height - pad level -injuries. Almost like Jalen was reading my post.... :rotf:

I believe everybody on here told you he wouldn't play te AT UT. And everybody was right.

Wrong....You believe wrong..... :tu: The debate never focused on Hurd playing TE at UT. It was Hurd playing TE in genral because of his size, pad level, and injuries.... Nice try..... :rotf:

Here's one of my statements during that debate.....

"I think he will play TE at the next level... :rotf:"

Jalen Hurd wouldnt have it any other way than play RB. Thats what he wanted and thats what he got. He was made the feature back and was almost a TN great. Instead he chose to sull up because he wasnt getting his way and quit on his team mates, his coaches and himself. He could have easily finished out this season and then went to the NFL but he chose otherwise. The same way he chose to be a RB instead of a TE in the first place. The name Jalen Hurd no longer has any substantial meaning to me.

Dang man, easy on the kid.

5 games. Thats all he had left and he would have went out a hero to Vol fans across the state. He would have been in the record books. Instead, he left it all just hanging. He knew what the system was when he came. He wanted to prove himself at RB and TN was willing to give him that. They made him the bell cow and the face of the program. He stood on the sideline at SC and basically refused to go back in the game. He quit. I have no use for quitters. I wish him well but Im no longer a fan.

He's leaving UT because their offensive scheme "isn't suited for his running style". And to prove his point, he's going to transfer so he can play te.
Does that make any sense at all?

He's an adult. A grown man. Although I can see how his attitude and actions would confuse some people.
