Treon Harris will reportedly play a new position for Florida in 2016.
Harris is moving from quarterback to wide receiver for spring practice, according to a report from Gridiron Now's Mike Huguenin. Harris began last season as the starter, lost the job to Will Grier and then reclaimed it when Grier was suspended.
The Gators will have transfers Austin Appleby and Luke Del Rio and early-enrollee freshmen Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask at quarterback during the spring. Harris completed 50.6 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and six interceptions in 2015.
Appleby tweeted a picture Thursday of this year's QB group.
