Sad news for Vols fans. Blood clots have returned in his lungs. That is a scary situation for the young man. Life is more important than football. Boy losing our best player at an already weak position is going to be terrible for the Vols moving forward.

I saw a piece on him about 2 weeks ago. Very scary... Hate it for him. Seems like a good kid that not only may end his career but life threatening. Hope he gets its fixed for good. Very talented player that would make some big money in the NFL for his family.

Id say we have probably seen Trey play his last football, which is a shame, because hes such a talented guy. He has been playing out of position this year and hasnt looked like himself at times. I just wonder how much of it was playing out of position or his health hindering him. They were afraid he wouldnt be able to play again when they caught it the last time. Id say after this time he wont be back. I sincerely hope Im wrong but no matter what, Trey has got to do what is right for him and I hope for him the best of luck.

I don't care which team he plays for, this is tough for a kid to deal with, especially one with as much promise as Trey. I'm routing for him, and hope that this turns out well.

Feel the same way... I may talk trash about teams but I never want to see any kid from any team hurt or sick. They put a lot of time and energy into this.

Feel sorry for him. This will be a lifelong problem. I honestly don't know how they brought him back. He has to be on life long anticoagulants AND play football? Not good , but better than sudden death from a pulmonary embolism.
