I've had one of my cameras on a trophy rock for over 2 weeks and have only gotten 1 picture of 1 doe? This is my 1st experience using a trophy rock....thoughts or suggestions?

Is this normal?

Id say it could be perfectly normal. Im not sure if trophy rock is just something deer would smell or find from a long way off, so if theyre normal summer feeding to bed patterns arent near the TR then it could be scarce to find it.

No. Just a mineral supplement.
Don't worry, they'll find it.
Just replaced mine today and the deer have dug up a big hole where the last one was.

Not that uncommon, as some areas see a much higher usage of salt than others do. They will definitely find and use it atleast some eventually.

Took about 2 weeks for em to find mine. We moved the camera due to the lack of interest and now they are on it like a fat kid on cake.

you cant expect to see what you want to see in only two weeks. look at tarsalglands pics. it doesnt happen over night. but hope you the best

There's a bit of a strategy to putting out a mineral sight. Put it somewhere where they trip over it and you should be good.

Just make sure you've got your rock on or near known travel corridors and they will definitely find it!!! Took them about 3 weeks to find my new trophy rock spot this year. But now they found it they are on it.

+1. I had one laying on a field edge and got 2-3 pics a week. Found a travel route and now get 75-100 avg.
