It's the same thing as speed nocks. If you get them in the right place they will add some fps, but without a chrono to test through it would be nearly impossible to get them in the correct spot on the string.

Ditto . They are usually placed close to the cam(s) for acceleration . I placed too close to the center and they will slow the string string too much .
Yeah I don't think they hurt my bow, but I don't think they helped much either. I have them about 3-4 inches off the cams on both ends. Plus they were the spyder ones, the silencers.
